Jean-Paul Marat was born in 1743 in Boudry, Neuchatel. After a long, illustrious, and dignified career as a medical doctor during which he was repeatedly, cruelly, and without provocation, robbed in the most heinous and unforgivable fashion (Bailly, I'm staring meaningfully at you) of the many high scientific honours which were his due, he selflessly sacrificed all the luxurious trappings of his former life to be utterly consumed by the flame of the revolution. Compelled by his great, profound, and burning love for the People of France, he was mercilessly persecuted for his brilliant and underappreciated journal L'Ami du Peuple until that cheap hack Jacques Pierre Brissot sent some psychotic bint from Caen to stick a knife in his chest. He now resides in eternal glory, and also in the basement of the Club des Cordeliers, where he garners what small amusement there may be in delivering fiery and enormously relevant discourses on the necessity of dictatorships to passing tourists.
Interests (26):
decapitation, dictatorship, ever-increasing numbers of heads, filibustering, france, frothing at the mouth, fury, haunting the cordeliers, journalism, just anger, killing spiders, l'ami du peuple, la france, la montagne, la patrie, maximilien robespierre, medicinal baths, progressive politics, revolution, righteous anger, sarcasm, the cordeliers basement, the french revolution, the people, the people's revolution, the revolution
